Madison + Kevin = Union Station Hotel Wedding

Madison and Kevin…where do I begin? Actually, I know exactly where to start. I first met Madison a few years ago when at her brother’s engagement session. It was out on a big beautiful property in Kentucky. It was nice surprise when I got a message from her asking about my availability. Working with the same family for another wedding is one of my favorite things. It’s like a family reunion.

So let’s talk about the wedding. Waller, the cutest dog this side of the Mississippi was trying to steal the show all day. Luckily, he was tucked away for the ceremony so Madison could get the attention every bride deserves. The vibe was Historic Nashville dancing with New Orleans. Classy. Party.

It had been a few years since I got to photograph a wedding at the beautiful Union Station Hotel. Did you see this place? Soak in the crazy beautiful architecture. And the roof makes you feel like your in a palace.

This wedding was fun in so many different ways. I’m sad this will probably be the last wedding I get to do for this wonderful family. Hopefully I’m still shooting weddings in 20 years or so and we can get together again.

Last thing. A round of applause please for the amazingly talented Bruce Pitman and his team at Bruce Pitman Inc. After I walked into the reception, I had to pick my jaw off the floor. Stunning.

Alex + Scott = Scarritt Bennett + Schermerhorn Wedding

Alex and Scott’s wedding day was one of those rare combinations of elegance and ease. They chose two of Nashville’s most beautiful venues — Scarritt Bennett for the ceremony and Schermerhorn Symphony Center for the reception — and the day flowed perfectly between the two.

The ceremony was filled with laughter and warmth, especially when Alex tried to slide Scott’s ring on and it didn’t quite fit. It was such a simple moment, but one that captured their personalities perfectly — laid back, lighthearted, and deeply connected.

The evening that followed at the Schermerhorn was timeless and full of energy. Guests filled the space with laughter, great music, and the kind of joy that only comes from being surrounded by the people who know you best. It was a classy celebration, but never too serious — just an incredible night that felt true to who they are.

Lindsey + Andy = The Bell Tower Wedding

Lindsey and Andy love the game of golf and their precious pup named…Birdie. I love how they incorporated both of these into their wedding day. I LOVE dogs so having one around on a wedding day always makes me so happy. It also makes for a lot of fun and unplanned photos.

These ‘lovebirdies’ (sorry I couldn’t resist) had their beautiful wedding day at The Bell Tower which is a beautiful historic building in the heart of downtown Nashville. We popped outside for some of the photos and even got to meet some friendly tourists.

I’m so happy for this wonderful couple. Enjoy some highlights from their wedding day.
